About Us

FTL Technology was conceived over 30 years ago and supplies leading brand sealing and bearing products. Additionally we are involved in the design of specific engineered sealing solutions to suit individual client needs.

The business is managed by four executive directors and employs 33 people, 20 of whom are qualified engineers. It is located in purpose-designed premises in Leeds, and the facilities comprise a suite of modern offices, warehousing facilities, workshops, test facilities and a clean assembly room.

Areas of Expertise

Design and manufacture of high efficiency pipeline pigging systems with a true multi-diameter capability.

The unique patented design of Varipig provides low differential drive pressure, true centreline running and controlled pig rotation all combined with high efficiency and repeatability across a wide range of pipeline diameters.

Pipeline diameter changes successfully passed include: 20” x 26”, 10” x 16” and 28” x 22”

  The supply and distribution of leading brand sealing products Including Merkel, Simrit, Carco and Elring in addition to our own-brand Meridian products.
• Engineered Solutions
  Increasingly, clients turn to us for help in solving specific sealing, bearing and frictional problems. We have invested in state-of-the-art design technology in order to deliver a first-class design service, working closely with clients from concept to installation. Our Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD System has allowed us to become involved in an increasingly wide range of engineering problems, for which we have been asked to find engineered solutions.
